Our History

Mofilco (Missouri Filter & Process Equipment Company) has grown from a personal business owned and operated by one individual to a small corporation.  It was incorporated in 1974 as a manufacturer's representative firm specializing in the sale of capital equipment to the food and chemical processing industry.

Today, Mofilco is owned and operated by Quenton Schott.  The small business atmosphere has developed a staff who work side-by-side in all aspects of the business, from customer service to quotes.  We are all willing to work with any of our customers to provide optimum service from initial contact to final delivery and there after.  

Our Customers

Over the years, local market conditions dictated an expansion into distribution lines which could be sold at the plant level to a broad spectrum of industry.  Currently, Mofilco has an established customer base in not only the food and chemical industry, but also in water treatment, power, pharmaceutical, and the mineral processing industry.   This customer base spans parts of Missouri, Kansas, and Illinois

Mofilco now services a wide range of applications found in pharmaceuticals, food processing, power generation, potable water, wastewater treatment, plastics, feed, grain, and more.  

Our Products

Our major capital equipment lines are conical mills, hammer mills, security screening, and roll compaction as well as in-line high shear mixers/ emulsifiers, and for wet milling. horizontal screw presses and fiber filters as well as sidehill screens for dewatering and/or extraction.

 At the plant level, we sell polyethylene and fiberglass tanks, slow speed turbine and portable mixers, level sensors for both powder & bulk solids as well as liquids, bin aeration devices, and a variety of pumps.  These pumps include metering type, magnetic drive centrifugal, and air operated double diaphragm type.  

We also offer a line of disc type filters and strainers commonly used for cooling towers and HVAC systems 

Our Availability

Our company has a significant investment in demo equipment which we can make available at your convenience.  We also carry a substantial amount of product in our inventory for same day shipment.
